Root & Bloom
Tower Defense Meets Clicker!
Root & Bloom is a game prototype that is made during the Global Game Jam 2023, and it attempts to mix tower defense and clicker mechanics in one game.
Although not all designed mechanics are implemented, the core idea is represented via this prototype.

Summary
The core idea of the game is built on the expansion of the roots of trees. In Root & Bloom, you can water tree roots to create defensive towers. A grid can have up to four tree roots, and tower strength increases as there are more roots on a grid.
Watering the grass to make flowers bloom is also possible. The watering system is built on collecting water from the lake, and then commanding the cloud that is on the map to make rain.

Right Click: Cloud Movement
